HPE Nimble Storage Overview

Nimble Storage was founded in 2008 and became part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in 2017. The company built a strong reputation for its storage arrays, first supporting iSCSI and later adding Fibre Channel.

What set Nimble apart was its CASL (Cache Accelerated Sequential Layout) file system and InfoSight, a predictive analytics platform that helps identify and prevent problems before they cause downtime. Their products also offered integrated data protection features such as snapshots and replication.
