Processors: Dual-socket support for 4th and 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs with up to 64 cores per processor.
Memory: Up to 32 DDR5 DIMM slots (16 per socket) on the R760 and R760xa, supporting up to 8 TB; up to 16 DDR5 DIMMs on the R760xs, supporting 1 TB.

Built for AI, ML, and GPU-heavy jobs, the R760xa supports up to 4 double-width 400W GPUs or 12 single-width units. Storage is limited to 8 front drives (SFF or EDSFF), and the chassis is deeper for airflow and cooling for top GPUs.
Dell PowerEdge R760xs (Value-Optimized Model)
A low-cost option for standard virtualization and SDS jobs, the R760xs supports up to 2× 32-core CPUs, 16 DIMMs (1 TB max), and various storage setups with up to 8 NVMe drives. GPU support is basic – up to 2× low-power GPUs only.
